Will they require you to use an Amazon phone? 🙂
The best to you in your new adventure!
Congratulations! That sounds like it will be fun. What sorts of positions are you hiring for?
Highest priority is software engineering leaders, but others as well. Take a look at http://www.amazon.com/gp/jobs/ref=j_sq_btn/185-7922601-6603534?jobSearchKeywords=database+services&category=*&location=US%2C+WA%2C+Seattle&x=31&y=13
Also hiring in Palo Alto, Vancouver, and Boston.
Sounds great. For you and for Amazon. Congratulations! I’m probably not following you to this company though. At least for right now I am happy being a teacher.
Alfred, I am fairly certain that somewhere it is written that your failure to follow me to yet another employer would trigger the apocalypse.
Your choice my friend. 🙂
I take it Alfred followed you from DEC to Microsoft.
We actually were at the same small company in Manhattan before both (independently) ending up at DEC and Microsoft.
Is this the absolutely perfect job as you mentioned before?
and what makes it so?
Congratulations Hal. Does this mean you are fulltime in Seattle again?
yup
